Relics from 13 nations demonstrate prosperity of the ancient Silk Road

An exhibition themed “Special Sharing – Silk Road National Museum Cultural Relics Exhibition” was opened at the National Museum of China in Beijing on April 11, 2019.
The 234 sets of historical relics on display are from national museums of China and 12 other countries: Cambodia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Mongolia, Oman, Poland, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russia, Slovenia and Tajikistan.
The relics were carefully selected to demonstrat the population migration, economic and trade flow, science-tech developments, religious communications, production and lifestyle and cultural exchanges along the ancient Silk Road.
The exhibition will last until July 14.
The exhibition is set to fully demonstrate the breadth and depth of the convergence and mutual understanding of science, technology and art in the countries along the “Belt and Road”.
