China's self-developed new energy four-seater electric aircraft, the RX4E, makes its maiden flight at Caihu Airport in Shenyang, Liaoning Province on Monday, marking the all-round development of China's aviation industry and technological innovation. (Photos: VCG)
Its development fills in the void of four-seater electric aircraft in China and opens up a new product category in the market in general aviation.
RX4E was developed by Shenyang Aerospace University and the Liaoning General Aviation Academy.
The cockpit of the RX4E adopts the design of double row, four seats and three doors, and the front seats can be adjusted.
The 1,200-kg aircraft is 8.4 meters long, with a wingspan of 13.5 meters. It has a range of 300 km and is capable of flying about one-and-a-half hours for a single flight.
