This village in Shanghai might change the traditional Chinese village stereotypes. Xinyi Village in Shanghai's Jinshan District is going to 3D print 10 houses, with the aim of turning the traditional area into an agricultural innovator. (Photos: VCG)
The 3D printing intends to be the first step towards encouraging innovative talents to villages in China, and several facilities to support this are also under construction.
Villagers can rent their house to people wishing to launch their startups and get closer to the creative minds in the tech industry.
According to VCG, this innovative village will open to tourists in June.
