Two stone sculptures of elephants guard the entrance to the garden, while a plaza inspired by peacocks greets visitors just a few steps away.
Mountains and rivers are the main features of the garden, and a path inspired by the ancient Tea Horse Road leads visitors to natural wonders.
Along the road, visitors can admire the beauty of rocks, running waters and plants flourishing at high altitudes.
Camellia, azalea, magnolia, lily, fairy primrose, orchid, meconopsis, and getian are eight well-known species in Yunnan Province. Golden lotus bananas are also endemic to the province.
