China's first permanent equestrian competition zone begins construction

Construction of the Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Center, China's first permanent equestrian competition venue, commenced on Dec 25.

Located in the Expo Cultural Park in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, the park will be built according to international equestrian competition standards.

Invested and designed by Shanghai Jiushi (Group) Co., Ltd, the 3.32-hectare facility is expected to be completed by April 2022.

The equestrian center will comprise 5,000 spectator seats and VIP stands, a competition zone, a warm-up area, a training center, stables and other competition facilities.
