The Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Center and Shaoxing Keqiao Yangshan Sport Climbing Center passed the function acceptance on Thursday, wrapping up the five-year construction of all 56 venues for the Asian Games and Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2022.

Games venue construction began in 2017, putting out state-of-the-art complexes one after another, built on Games workers’ diligence and faith.

Most Games venues are located inside Hangzhou and the others are in Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, and Huzhou. Guided by the principle “Green, Smart, Economical, Ethical”, these venues not only fulfill event requirements, but also serve the locals’ needs and boost urbanization.

“Standing unique to each other, the 56 Asian Games venues have been built to integrate with the surround industries and provide local citizens fitness training at the same time,” said Qiu Peihuang, head of the venues department of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.

The organizing committee is set to make progress in equipment monitoring, events testing and landscape designing to ensure the best performance of the Games venues to upgrade Games quality and single out local characters.
