It is the seventh consecutive year that Nujiang has hosted the international kayaking event.

More than 200 kayakers hailing from 15 countries and regions such as the UK, France and Germany, as well as members of China’s national kayak team and professional provincial- and city-level kayak teams, will compete across four events, including sprint, long distance, slalom and “tiger jump challenge.”

The contest saw kayakers take on the treacherous waters of the Nujiang River in thrilling scenes of athleticism.
