VIENNA, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Germany's Heike Groesswang has been elected President of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation, succeeding Italy's Ivo Ferriani, who had led the federation since 2010.
The IBSF announced that Groesswang, Secretary General of IBSF since 2012, was elected during Thursday's IBSF Congress morning session in Salzburg, Austria. She becomes the sixth and first female president of IBSF.
