Hu Zhe'an claims badminton men's singles title at Macau Open

China's Hu Zhe'an claimed the men's singles title at the 2026 Macau Open on Sunday, while his compatriots also triumphed in the women's doubles and mixed doubles events.

Hu, 19, rallied from a game down to defeat Thailand's Kantaphon Wangcharoen 11-21, 21-10, 21-13 in the men's singles final.

In the women's singles final, South Korea's Kim Ga-eun beat compatriot Park Ga-eun 2-0 to take the title.

China secured the women's doubles crown as Bao Lijing and Cao Zihan defeated Chen Fanshutian and Liu Jiayue 2-0 in an all-Chinese final. In men's doubles, South Korea's Jin Yong and Lee Jong Min overcame an Indonesian pair 2-1 to lift the trophy.

The mixed doubles title went to China's Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin, who beat Chan Yin Chak and Ng Tsz Yau fromHong Kong, China by 2-0.
