Iran's head coach says his team "didn't get what we were entitled to" after weeks of travel disruptions at the World Cup.
Forced to base themselves in Tijuana, Mexico, the squad has repeatedly crossed the U.S. border for matches, with one round trip taking 16 hours from departure to return. The coach said improved travel arrangements ahead of the decisive clash with Egypt should leave his players in a better physical and mental state.
Iran currently sits second in the group, knowing a positive result against Egypt could secure the country's first-ever qualification for the FIFA World Cup knockout stage.
