The opening event of the 2026 China Sports & Leisure Games kicked off Saturday at Wanpingkou Square in Rizhao, Shandong Province, drawing over 10,000 attendees keen to embrace all things sports and leisure. This national-level sports gala marks the fourth consecutive year that Rizhao has hosted the event. Seven sub-venues have been set up alongside a range of land, sea and air sporting events and related markets to promote industry.
