GUANGZHOU, July 12 (Xinhua) -- League leader Chengdu Rongcheng was held to a 1-1 draw by second-placed Chongqing Tonglianglong, while Shenzhen Peng City ended a nine-game winless run with a 3-0 victory over Qingdao West Coast in the 18th round of the Chinese Super League.

Chengdu hosted Chongqing in a top-of-the-table clash, with Felipe Silva opening the scoring in the 35th minute. He converted the rebound after goalkeeper Yao Haoyang saved his header from Wei Shihao's left-wing cross.

Chongqing equalized in the 49th minute as Landry Dimata headed in from Zhang Yingkai's long throw-in. Felipe struck the crossbar in the 85th minute before Chongqing missed a late opportunity. Chengdu remains top with 42 points, 14 ahead of Chongqing.

Elsewhere, Shenzhen Peng City beat Qingdao West Coast 3-0 to record its first win over the opponent in nine meetings. Yao Junsheng put Shenzhen ahead in the 30th minute with a long-range strike before Yang Yiming added a second before halftime.

In the 54th minute, Gabriel Xavier scored from close range after Yao Junsheng's corner caused a scramble in the box. The victory gave Shenzhen coach Robbie Neilson his first league win since taking charge, while Qingdao West Coast suffered its first league defeat in 13 matches.

On Friday, Shandong Taishan edged Yunnan Yukun 4-3. Due to Typhoon Bavi, the match between Zhejiang FC and Qingdao Hainiu has been postponed to July 14, while the schedule for the other matches has yet to be determined.
