Chinese swimmer Li defends women's 1,500m freestyle title at Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games

TOKYO, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese swimmer Li Bingjie successfully defended her women's 1,500 meters freestyle title at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games here on Sunday.

Li touched home first in 15 minutes 53.52 seconds, finishing ahead of Gan Ching Hwee of Singapore in 16:00.45 and Kajimoto Ichika of Japan in 16:06.83.
