China's Tang wins 50m breaststroke gold at Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games

TOKYO, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's Tang Qianting successfully defended her Asian Games title in the women's 50-meter breaststroke on Sunday, setting a new Games record at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

The Asian record holder clocked 29.45 seconds to take gold, lowering the Games record of 29.50 she had set earlier in the day in the qualifying round.

Japan's Satomi Suzuki claimed silver in 29.91 seconds, while China's Yang Chang took bronze in 30.24 seconds.
