Chinese swimmer Zhang Zhanshuo bags 3rd gold with 200m free Asian record at Asian Games

TOKYO, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- China's Zhang Zhanshuo claimed his third gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday, winning the men's 200 meters freestyle title in 1 minute 43.49 seconds to set a new Asian record.

South Korea's Hwang Sunwoo took silver in 1:44.62, while Japan's Murasa Tatsuya finished third in 1:44.81.

The 19-year-old Zhang previously won gold in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay, where China set an Asian record of 7:00.17, and the men's 1,500m freestyle.
