China secures esports Naraka: Bladepoint gold medal

China claimed the Naraka: Bladepoint gold in esports at the 2026 Asian Games on Thursday.

China's team of Wang Feng, Wang Tongrong, Xu Kunbin, Sui Xiangyun and Tan Xujie eased past Thailand 3-0 to take the gold in the event's Asiad debut.

"We had already played against Thailand in the group stage, but they weren't in such good form back then. Today, they showed a really strong performance. But we believed in ourselves, we had trained for so long just for this moment, so we gave it everything," Tan said after the event.

Chinese Taipei and Vietnam shared the event's bronze medal.
