Thailand's Puripol Boonson broke the Asian Games record in 9.91 seconds in the men's 100 meters semifinals at the 2026 Asian Games on Friday.

The previous record of 9.92 seconds was set by China's Su Bingtian at the Jakarta Games in 2018.
