After a recent refueling stop in Mauritius, China"s “Deep Sea Warrior” submersible left for its next operation in the Indian Ocean to continue its deep-sea diving mission. The manned submersible can reach a depth of 4,500 meters.

In the past two months, “Deep Sea Warrior” made 43 dives, and conducted geological, geophysical, geochemical and biological investigations and sampling of hydrothermal systems on the seabed.
