All designated tasks have been successfully carried out, including the preliminarily validation for the cells' system to operate in a vacuum, in low temperature and microgravity.
The academy said this experiment has provided crucial data for future space fuel cell development.
The fuel cell payload was on board the Tianzhou-5 cargo ship, the last resupply mission for China's space station before it completes assembly.
