Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has unveiled its latest anti-shake phones in London, as part of a drive by the country's brands to grab a share of the European market.

The company guaranteed no shaky shots while you're on the move at the launch of the Oppo Reno 2 phone series.

"The way we do that is using hardware in this device instead of software to create that anti-shake movement. So you will able to film content and not have the effect of blurring," said Michael Tran, director of Oppo UK.

The company entered the European market last year and announced it will expand to Germany, Belgium and Portugal.

"After the success of Huawei, many other Chinese vendors are coming to Europe and they are trying to get their own market share. One of the first has been Oppo and also Xiaomi," said technology analyst Flavio Piccioni.

The European smartphone market is still dominated by Samsung and Apple, but Chinese smartphone makers are steadily making inroads.
