The venues and the surrounding high-speed railway and subway lines for the third China International Import Expo(CIIE) will be fully covered by the 5G network, the Shanghai branch of China Telecommunications Corporation said.

The 5G network covers Shanghai's entire urban area and major suburban areas.
Apart from constructing outdoor stations, Shanghai Telecom has innovatively transformed telephone booths into 5G stations, and fixed 5G equipment onto height limit masts of expressways. Now over 13,000 outdoor 5G stations and 20,000 indoor small cells are available for Shanghai Telecom users.
