South China's Guangdong Province is accelerating the construction of mobile cabin hospitals and isolation points for COVID-19 patients with precise and differentiated epidemic control measures in place, as part of efforts to contain the latest round of the epidemic. Some 39,000 field hospital beds were in use as of midnight on November 17.

According to the Provincial Health Commission, the province has logged 21,392 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of November 17, of which 6,092 were imported, in the latest round of the outbreak.
