Apple is encouraging all employees at its headquarters to work from home to combat the spread of coronavirus, but some have been tasked with working the night shift to answer emails from Chinese factories.
According to tech news site The Information, workers on the night shift mainly deal with Chinese factories and receive photos from them.
Engineers are usually dispatched to China before a new product is put into mass production. But due to the pandemic, they must depend on photographs when making decisions about hardware production.
