China's fourth C919 to roll off the production line completed a taxiing test on Tuesday at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, as part of preparations for its maiden flight, local media reports.

The C919 is China's first domestically-developed large passenger jet. It is produced by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC).

On July 26, COMAC successfully conducted a test flight of the third C919, flying from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Xian Yanliang Airport.

COMAC plans to finish test flights for six C919 aircraft before the end of the year.
