Born in South China's Guangdong Province, Liang Qiaochan had a sudden high fever and missed the best treatment time when she was just one year old.

It turned out that she had suffered from polio, which left Liang with muscle atrophy in her right leg. However, she didn't give up on life.

Her later encounter with wheelchair dancing opened a new door to her life. Now the 29-year-old has won many national dancing championships.

"When we are in wheelchairs, our legs cannot move, so the wheelchairs become our legs," said Liang.
