During the visit, Xi entered a seventh-grade classroom where students were in the middle of a lesson, and chatted with teachers and students.

Xi asked the children whether they had moved there with their parents, how many of them wore glasses and whether they had enough time for exercise. The children responded with enthusiasm, filling the classroom with a warm atmosphere.

The children eagerly shared details of their school life with Xi.

At the school cafeteria, Xi examined the menu, which offered dishes such as braised pork rice, stir-fried cabbage and beef pies. He urged the school to ensure the safety and nutritional quality of students' meals.

Providing high-quality educational resources like Beijing No. 4 High School was intended to support the development of Xiong'an and the healthy growth of children, Xi said. Before leaving the school, the children gathered around him. Xi smiled and asked, "Are your school uniforms the same as those at the Beijing campus?" They replied in unison, "Yes!"

Xi encouraged the children to cherish what they have, strive to make progress, and stay positive and upward-looking, so that they grow together with the Xiong'an New Area and advance in step with Chinese modernization.
