China's finance ministry to issue 15 bln yuan of treasury bonds in HK

BEIJING, June 9 (Xinhua) - China's Ministry of Finance on Tuesday said that it will issue this year's third batch of renminbi-denominated treasury bonds in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on June 16.

The scale of the bonds will be 15 billion yuan (about 2.2 billion U.S. dollars), according to a statement released by the ministry.

Specific issuance arrangements will be announced on the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Central Moneymarkets Unit website, according to the ministry.
