On Tuesday morning, President Xi Jinping, accompanied by Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), visited the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea in Pyongyang. In the wooded area between teaching buildings, Xi and Kim jointly planted a fir tree. The fir tree remains evergreen throughout the year, symbolizing the enduring and ever-renewing friendship between China and the DPRK.
