Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi posted on Tuesday her own photos at famous Nepal tourist spots on her Twitter account, in English and Nepali, attracting enthusiasm from many netizens.

“True beauty always touches the heart. Beautiful Nepal has a long history, diverse cultures and beautiful natural scenery. I wish the Nepal tourism year 2020 a success,” said Hou in her post.
The tweet went viral in Nepal, received more than 120 messages, 220 retweets and thousands of likes within hours.
Netizens in Nepal said they appreciate Ambassador Hou for her commitment to promoting tourism in Nepal over the past year. They said the ambassador is wise and beautiful and really “respects and loves Nepal.” One fan even posted a screenshot with Hou’s photo as his mobile phone home screen image.
