The Beijing subway will soon adopt a one-day ticket, giving passengers multiple entries into the subway within 24 hours, said the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport.

The one-day ticket will provide convenience for tourists who visit Beijing and help promote the development of tourism, said the Commission of Transport.
The city will also launch a new round of subway construction, with the first-stage construction of the No.3 Line and the second-stage construction of the No.12 and No.16 lines accelerated in 2019, according to the Commission.
The one-day ticket will be a QR code, saving tourists the trouble of returning the ticket before they leave the city.
