The ministry added that police officers secured 145 large-scale public activities, 31 fireworks shows and 256 million visits to tourist spots during the holiday.

Public security organs also ensured the safety of 16.96 million railway trips and 3.57 million trips operated by the civil aviation sector, according to the ministry.
