According a recent notice issued by the leading group of the Communist Prty of China Central Committee on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus outbreak, cross-provincial and cross-border tourism are still not encouraged as the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases from overseas continues to rise in the country.

The eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang also announced Monday that to ensure the orderly reopening of tourist attractions, Zhejiang will continue to limit the flow of tourists to half of their daily capacity for a period of time, said the provincial leading group office for epidemic prevention and control at a press conference.

Meanwhile, all the major tourist attractions in the province will provide online ticket bookings to prevent close contact among visitors. Tourists are required to present their "health code" to demonstrate their health condition when entering scenic areas, which will be strictly disinfected.
