With the Chinese New Year approaching, many Chinese families are making plans for outbound trips.

The 25th Dubai Shopping Festival, held from Dec 26 to Feb 1 in the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), brings together headline concerts, firework shows, light installations and a series of world-class performances.

The 38-day event features showstopping performances, immersive experiences, innovative brand activations and family-friendly celebrations. Shoppers across Dubai's malls can enjoy offers of between 25 percent and 75 percent off international fashion, beauty, home and lifestyle brands. Over 1,000 restaurants provide dine-in specials and discounts.

"Every DSF we see Dubai at its best," said Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment. "The weather is wonderful, and our key partners and retailers across Dubai make an incredible effort to ensure that people from every culture, age and background come together in celebration of their love for entertainment and the opportunity to win great prizes."

"It has always been our aim for this festival year after year, to create memorable moments with family and friends and further enhance Dubai's reputation as a 'must-visit' destination," he said.
