Engine fire causes Cathay Pacific Dragon Airlines flight to return to Kaohsiung

Cathay Dragon flight from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong returned to Kaohsiung shortly after takeoff on Monday after an engine fire caused by a suspected bird strike, the Taiwan-based United Daily News reported online.

With 317 people on board, the plane landed safely, it said.
