Have you ever been to the Classical Gardens of Suzhou? Located in East China's Jiangsu Province, the Suzhou Classical Gardens were originally built some 2,500 years ago, and became prosperous during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Classical Gardens of Suzhou were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. The gardens seek to recreate natural landscapes in miniature, and they change every season. The meticulous design of these classical gardens reflect the profound, metaphysical importance of natural beauty in Chinese culture.
