Have you ever been to the Elephant Trunk Hill? There has been a famous Chinese saying: "Guilin's scenery is the best under all heaven." The idiom is not far from the mark because Guilin is easily one of China's most picturesque places to visit.

Elephant Trunk Hill is regarded as the symbol of Guilin. It stands in the downtown area of Guilin city. The name of this hill comes from its shape - it looks like a giant elephant dipping its trunk into the river.
