Purple wildflowers brighten Guizhou's mountain landscape

A vast sea of purple wild chive flowers is in full bloom at Jiucaiping Scenic Area in Hezhang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province. The flowers typically bloom from August to October, attracting tourists during this peak season. This year, the scenic area has upgraded its mountain tourism offerings, introducing hiking routes and flower-viewing activities. Improvements to cable cars, sightseeing buses, rest areas and viewing platforms, along with new walking trails and shuttle services all aim to enhance the visitor experience.
