Autumn brings a flurry of birdlife to Shanxi's Danhe Wetland

As autumn settles in, migratory birds are arriving at Danhe Wetland in Jincheng, Shanxi Province, northern China.

Eurasian spoonbills, Eurasian coots, cormorants, mallards and great crested grebes gather along the lake to rest and forage during their seasonal journeys. Sunlight shimmers across the water as birds glide by, leaving gentle ripples in their wake.
