Rapeseed flowers in Zhaosu County of northwestern China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region are welcoming tourists with a splendid view of vast golden fields.
"I'm really happy to see a sea of rapeseed flowers here today. It looks like a large piece of yellow cloth, or ribbons beautifully lined up together," said a tourist from Shanghai.
Around 67,000 hectares of rapeseed flowers are cultivated annually in Zhaosu County — the largest rapeseed producing area in Xinjiang, accounting for 40 percent of the total area reserved for growing rapeseed in the autonomous region.
With a flowering period of about 30 days in July, thousands of tourists visit the county every year to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
