Shanghai Disney Resort announced on Friday that it will temporarily suspend the sale of Diamond Annual Passes and Sapphire Annual Passes starting Friday to better manage guest flow and preserve the in-park guest experience. Current benefits for existing annual pass holders will not be affected.

The suspension of the annual passes is temporary, the park said, offering no timeline for when sales will resume. This is not the first time Shanghai Disney has suspended the sale of new annual passes. In February 2022, Shanghai Disney Resort temporarily suspended the sale of new Crystal Annual Passes.
