SHANGHAI, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Disney Resort has unveiled a plan to adjust its pricing structure and rates for Shanghai Disneyland admission, which will take effect next June.

Currently, the resort adopts a three-tiered pricing structure for admission to Shanghai Disneyland, under which tickets for regular periods, peak periods and peak holiday periods are set at 399 yuan (about $56.75), 575 yuan and 665 yuan, respectively.

A new four-tiered pricing structure will be introduced from June 6, 2020, with the base tier price for regular periods unchanged at 399 yuan and the price for the majority of spring days and selected weekends set at 499 yuan, the resort said.

Tickets for peak periods, including most of the summer season, selected holidays and weekends, will be set at 599 yuan, while special peak pricing for statutory holidays and some international celebrations will be 699 yuan.

The new pricing structure will provide visitors with a wider range of ticket options, enabling them to make choices based on their differing needs, according to the resort.
