Thailand holds trade exhibition to reinforce tourism sustainability

Bangkok (People's Daily) – The newest edition of Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) trade fair has set up its stage in Bangkok as 374 buyers from 50 countries, 435 booths of high-quality sellers from across Thailand and the Greater Mekong Sub-region, and 112 media representatives from all over the world attended the event.

Under the theme "Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters," TTM+ 2023 aims to elevate supply and boost tourism revenue countrywide while creating sustainability by leveraging the kingdom's 5F soft-power foundations -- Food, Film, Festival, Fight, and Fashion.

TTM Plus 2023 showcases the amazing new chapters of Thailand's move towards sustainability and becoming a quality destination, said Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Thailand's minister of tourism and sports, during the opening day speech.

Running from Thursday to Friday, this edition returns to the Thai capital after being hosted in Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Phuket.
