All seven ski resorts in Chongli, north China's Zhangjiakou City, have been temporarily closed due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As the main venue for the 2022 Winter Olympics, Chongli will take appropriate measures to resume operations at its ski resorts as soon as possible based on current epidemic prevention and control efforts.

According to an official in Chongli, a plan for resuming operations has been formulated. It will require non-local residents to make online reservations, fill in detailed personal health and transportation information, and use e-tickets to enter the resorts.

Each ski resort will be controlled in different zones for prevention and control of the epidemic. Visitors will be put in designated hotels while some non-essential facilities like bars and theaters will remain temporarily closed.

The specific reopening date at each ski resort will be updated through Chongli's official media platforms.
