To strengthen border control capability, the Tibet Military Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army set up a "5592 observation post" at an altitude of 5,592 meters on a border area of Xigaze branch in early 2020 for frontline border observation and border defense.
The soldiers fought against wind and sand, severe cold, and hypoxia. It took nearly a year to build outposts among the rocks, which effectively safeguarded sovereignty and territorial integrity.
This is the first time for journalists to report the devotion of the soldiers at the "5592 observation post", the highest garrison in China.
