The first group of China's 23rd batch of peacekeepers to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) left for China on September 13.

The 218-member peacekeeping force was deployed to DRC in September last year.

Overcoming security threats and infectious diseases, they have fulfilled their tasks like repairing roads and building epidemic isolation centers.

On their way home, they will take full epidemic prevention measures, like wearing protective gear, monitoring their temperature and disinfecting.
