CIIE: for China, for the world

<p>The third China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum opened today in Shanghai. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech via video link at the opening ceremony.</p><p>As the world’s first import expo held at a national level, CIIE offers the story of China and the world.&nbsp;</p><p>This year, the grand event was held on schedule and conveys China&#39;s firm resolve to open wider to the outside world and inject fresh impetus into a global economy crippled by the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);">(Subtitles by Luo Meiqi and Zhang Jian)</span></p>
