Cornered leopard goes on rampage, attacks 3 villagers in India

<p>A leopard was cornered by villagers in central India and injured three people while trying to escape on January 7.&nbsp;</p><p><img src="https://imedia-peoplesdaily.pdnews.cn/up/cms/www/201901/09132857biv8.jpg" title="无标题1.jpg" alt="无标题1.jpg"/></p><p><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);">Video source: VCG</span></p><p>The incident took place in a village near the Banderi forest in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh state, after the leopard was seen crossing the village boundary and became entangled in some ropes. The villagers went to see the trapped predator but it suddenly charged out of the bush and injured three villagers. The injured were sent to a nearby government hospital. Forest officials were informed and DFO Prashant Kumar and SDO Sudhir Singh arrived on the scene to catch the dangerous animal.</p><p><br/></p>
