Amazon is taking on Apple in mobile payments, according to the Wall Street Journal. The daily quotes unnamed sources as saying that Amazon is trying to convince gas stations, restaurants and other merchants that aren't direct competitors to accept its Amazon Pay digital wallet. Amazon declined to comment. Dataiku's sales engineering lead Kenneth Sanford: "It seems to be another attempt
