Hunan TV and Mango TV's 2025 Hunan Opera Spring Festival Gala, set to air on January 29, the first day of the Chinese New Year, will showcase Chinese opera traditions. In a special three-minute segment, performers present eight iconic Chinese opera stunts, including stilt skills, ladder skills, tortoise tea serving, flag acrobatics, water sleeves, handkerchief dance, Wu Song's Fight at the Inn and combat techniques with flags. Dressed in traditional costumes, the performers will execute intricate stunts using chairs, ladders and tables, demonstrating extraordinary technical mastery.
