In the middle of February, at the Shandan horse ranch inside Qilian Mountain National Park, state-protected wild animals like blue sheep and red deer were spotted roaming and grazing across the valleys and hillsides. This showcases the rich biodiversity thriving in the highlands of Northwest China.
